People often want to make important changes to the way they think, behave or interact with others. But so often, these attempts are unsuccessful because the habits are too engrained and the energy and focus required to make the changes stick is too much. Through coaching, Sarah helps people gain clarity about the beliefs they need to shift to make the change stick, what triggers can derail their efforts to change. She then supports them to maximise opportunities for trying the new behaviour. Coaching also provides a sounding board for the frustrations and setbacks that people encounter when trying to do things differently, so they are encouraged to persevere and not give up on that important change.
